having dedicated a significant part of our lives to global exploration through our professions. our professions led us to explore captivating places, and we had the privilege of being accompanied by extraordinary individuals who instilled in us the values of hospitality and warmth. thanks to their generosity, we explored incredible locations and lived rare, unexpected experiences that will forever enrich us.
after over 20 years of this incredible and bustling journey, we were suddenly engulfed by a sense of alienation, as if existing within a captivating yet isolating "bubble," detached from our longing for normality and simplicity.
so, after thorough exploration, we arrived here in Langa, precisely where Luca's paternal roots lie. here, stories verging on myth unfold, featuring a poet and artist uncle who crafted artisanal grappa, now a symbol of these lands. it felt like a circle closing or reopening, in a way
as we entered through this gate, strolled along the avenue, and everything closed behind us, we were immediately captivated by the lush and occasionally untamed nature that would soon reveal its entire splendor over a valley of hazelnuts and woods before us.
in that moment, we grasped that this would be the place where we would set down our roots, and everything commenced – our new beginning.
